Below are the newest ministry outreach opportunities of PLWC. We invite you to pray and follow the Lord's guidance where He is leading you to use your gifts and talents to further His Kingdom. Opportunities to Help Others – From now until Nov. 6th, we have two opportunities to help others. The first is the Empowering the Nations offering. More info is on the bulletin insert. If you would like to help pastors in other countries receive training, please put “Empowering the Nations” on the memo line of your check or on an envelope and put it in the offering. We are also working with area churches to collect coats for the food pantry. They may be placed in the box in the adult Sunday school room.

**Saturday, October 22nd** Reach out to our community's flood victims - contact Pastor Luke or Pastor Carey if you want to be a part of this outreach ministry.

The Brookmont Outreach Ministry needs more volunteers! This special outreach ministry reaches out to nursing home residents every Tuesday. Volunteers meet at the CVS in Blakeslee at 3:00 PM each Tuesday and carpool to Brookmont. Do you have time every Tuesday, or even once a month, to use your gifts and talents to reach out with God's love? Volunteers invite residents to the service, help residents to and from their rooms, sing, or just sit with the residents and show the warmth and love of Christ! Call the church for more details - you won't be the same after sharing the love of Christ in this special ministry!

FAMILY PROMISE

***UPCOMING OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY: See Pastor Luke if you'd like to participate in providing a meal on October 27th.for Family Promise.**

We praise God for the ministry of Family Promise, and the opportunity we have to take part in this valuable outreach to vulnerable families. Our church is a support church in this ministry. Please see Pastor Luke or Pastor Carey for more details on being a part of this special ministry.

Thank you for bringing in your labels for Hephzibah! We were able to send another hundred labels this week. Lists of qualifying labels and lids are available on the back table.

Hephzibah Children's Home: Campbells is doing a promotion now where your labels may be worth more points then usual. Please bring in your labels (the UPC's not the fronts of the labels) so we can send them to Hephzibah Children's Home. The labels go in the red box on the table at the back of the sanctuary.

We have a new sign up sheet on the bulletin board for special music. If God has gifted you musically, please sign up to share your special gift with us! See Denice Stephens for more information.

If you would be interested in teaching children's church once a month or every other month with a fun and interactive curriculum, please see Lena Argot for more details.

Food Pantry: The community food pantry is in desparate need of donations! You can just place your food donations in the basket in the back of the sanctuary. This is an important ministry where we work with other churches in our community to help those in need - thanks for your generous donations!

Make a Difference for Eternity as a Teacher: We are looking for a covenant member to serve as a teacher for the teen's class. Please speak to one of the pastors if you are interested in being a part of this special ministry!
