Letter from Pastor Carey

Christmas is a great time for parties and big meals.  We look forward to spending time with friends and family. 

 As great as it is to spend time with the people who mean the most to us, Christmas isn't complete if we don't spend time with Jesus.  Matthew 1:23 tells us that another name for Jesus is "Immanuel" which means "God with us."  Jesus came to earth so that we can really know God. 

I hope that you will spend some special time with Him this Christmas.  It can be in your bedroom, in front of your family's Christmas tree, or at a church service...anywhere that you can focus on Him. 

 The best thing is that He meets us where we're at!
